Former French Vogue Editor Reinvents Herself
Carine Roitfeld’s is a survivor who reinvented herself after leaving her editor post at French Vogue. Fired or freed? Doesn’t matter. She’s now publishing a new semiannual fashion glossy magazine called CR.
After her turbulent departure from Vogue, Roitfeld was hired by Barneys to style a campaign in which she featured herself instead of models. She then did a coffee table book with designer Karl Lagerfeld celebrating the Chanel jacket and put herself on the cover. And she scored a MAC cosmetics campaign where she posed in lingerie.

Magazine mogul, model, and grandmother — Carine Roitfeld who exited her post as Editor of French Vogue like any woman on a mission to make her midlife mark.
Not a bad run for this grandmother, tiger, survivor and midlife beauty.
